Maternity Session at Longwood Gardens

I met Erika through a Katelyn James group on Facebook a few months back – (Side Note: Katelyn James is my biggest inspiration, she is just theeeeeeee sweetest most amazing photographer/educator!) We started chatting via Facebook and then talked about swapping headshots.. well fast forward a few months… Erika messaged me letting me know her and her husband are now expecting and needed a maternity session! Erika was so sweet from the moment i talked her her on Facebook but was just sooooo much sweeter to meet in person!

We shot at the beautiful Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square – I’ve been dying to do a shoot here and so happy that this shoot was my first here. I loved hanging around Erika and Kevin all morning- they are seriously such a cute & fun couple and i’m pretty sure they love sarcasm just as much as I do which is a huge plus in my book. Not to mention.. they had all the motivation to take some risks and *almost* get kicked out 😉 – (do not enter signs are tempting… sorry, Longwood!) ALSO she was a TROOPER in the cold snow, I mean…I had a jacket and pants on while this girl is walking around in a dress and I was freeeeeezing but she wanted some pretty snow shots and we got them 🙂
